Autism Spectrum Consultants is hiring for the position of
ABA 1:1 Therapist in the following locations:
Orange County
Inland Empire (Corona/Riverside & Murrieta/Temecula)
San Diego (San Diego/Chula Vista)
Compensation: Competitive compensation based on applicant education and experience.
Employment type: This position offers flexible scheduling opportunities during weekday and weekend hours. Services are provided between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM on weekdays, with additional weekend hours available based on client needs and availability. Weekly schedules vary according to client assignments, service locations, and staff availability.
Behavior Therapists typically work 10 to 35+ hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours depending on client needs, geographic location, and availability. Individual sessions are a minimum of 2 hours in duration, with total session length varying based on the client’s treatment plan and service setting. Services may be provided in a variety of environments, including homes, schools, clinics, daycares, and community settings. Therapists are assigned to clients within their designated service area (Orange County, Inland Empire, or San Diego County) and should be comfortable traveling to different service locations throughout their region.

Autism Spectrum Consultants, Inc. (ASC) is among the most skilled and caring organizations effectively treating children with autism and other developmental disorders. We serve families in the Southern California areas of Orange County, San Diego County, and the Inland Empire. Our expertise is in behavior health treatment using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Our company consists of highly trained 1:1 therapists, case supervisors, clinical directors, psychologists, marriage and family therapists and researchers. ABA 1:1 therapists implement 1:1 behavior intervention programs to children in their homes, schools and out in various community settings. Therapists participate in an initial training program that provides instruction on Applied Behavior Analysis, discrete trial teaching techniques, behavior management, social skills development, and data collection techniques based on research. ABA 1:1 Therapists receive ongoing training from their case supervisor for each of their client’s cases throughout employment.
ABA 1:1 Therapist Position:
Eligible Candidates: Strong candidates possess the following:
- Prior experience working with children
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree or be enrolled in one of the following programs:
- Education, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field
- Have afternoon and weekend availability
- Have reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance
- Pass a background check
- Must pass TB test
